Excellent article! I don’t have a formal writing degree either — Computer Science and Mathematics. Yet, I’m writing fiction and non-fiction with everything being received exceptionally well. I’m not making tons of money, but I’m happier writing and building relationships with my readers.

As you say at the very end, “ Ignore the haters, speak your truth, and carry on with being successful.” Success doesn’t mean a nationwide bestseller, millions of dollars, fame and glory. To many it does, and I find they tend to be the people who aren’t creators.

Best line… “It was about being a badass and doing something significant and meaningful.” Couldn’t agree more. :-)
